Track day I plan on removing airbags, center conrol, door panels, seats, radio, climate control, speakers, carpet, spare tire, cruise control, muffler, and putting hx wheels on the rear and some nice gripping tires on the front.
Mods: 10 years and 320,000 miles later and still no engine swap yet...
removing all retaining clips, screws, brackets, etc. from exterior body parts like fender linings, lip spoilers, side valances and replacing with zip ties = 3+ lbs. savings!
please note: you may have to drill extra holes by orginals to allow for proper snugness (hee hee)...
