i was wondering... if you have a k20a3, can u just change ur cams to make it a k20a2? or would u need to replace the whole head + intake manifold + ecu?

just the cam? probably not, you'll need the other components to make it work as if it was k20a2.
head swaps are as it says. mainly ECU, head itself, and intake mani like you said.

it's an information thread. we don't need you reviving this thread just to post pointless BS and take up space because you are too much of a noob to think before you post. Also vulgar remarks on this thread displaying your level of maturity will not be tolerated. so drop the tough guy act.

O.k. you're about all of 20 (not speaking for all 20 yr. olds), you could've shown your maturity level and sent an IM but you chose to thread jack and post your opinion on the board for everyone to observe so I decided to do the same. Yeah I'm new here but other boards that I frequent delete old posts after a period of time so the valuable information within becomes lost for a while and redundant questions appear hence some of the other posters communicating how it has helped them. I normally don't bother others in fact it would be a waste of my time and energy, so for me this conversation has ended.
I apologize to the originating thread host for thread jacking, but he had to be told.

Very informative - I need a little bit more info...
I'm knew to the world of Honda and Honda performance. I'm originally a VW rider, so bare with me... I now have a 90 Honda Accord EX Sedan automatic (The Mrs. ride) and I have\drive a facotory 02 Accord EX Coupe - VTEC (single overhead cam). I didn't know until after buying my coupe that VTEC comes in single & overhead... All I knew, I drive hard and VTEC deals with deals with that, so BUY A VTEC.
Here's my thing, I've always been crazy about the 92 to 96 Prelude; I do like the 97 to 2005 I think body, but there's something about the 92-96 that I think\see\find as a true grown-man sports car; much love to the Civic Riders... A few weeks back, I was coming down GA400 and I saw a Audi TT in my rear and next thing up next to me - driver side. Being a former euro-tuner, I knew that my 02 Accord EX couldn't out run a Audi TT. So, I bit my lip and let the TT have it's moment of glory.
I want to build a 96 Prelude street monster, and I wondering which one to focus on a VTEC or a S and I think I saw a SI... Can someone school me on the engines; I mean list the factory horse power, and then which engine combo should I build... :eek

you want prelude vtec. all others are slow as dogpiss. the 92-96 is the fastes lude. but the makes 5 less hp than the 97+. the 92-96 has teh ugliest honda interior ever created though. if you really want some serious power you can go all sorts of routes. you could prolly get a beat as lude and swap in the jdm h22a and call it a day. it makes 220+hp factory. or just buy a current vtec lude less of a headache.
h22a (vtec of that year makes 190hp)
the h23 nonvtec makes 160
and the other one makes 135 hp.
build the h22a the others are a waste of money in the long run. not that they can't be fast but it's just not logical

WVU97GS-R => I thank you
Again I thank you for that info... I read the thread about the K series engines - The RSX engines... What's up with those in comparison to the H22A engines, besides a higher price....lol
