Motegi Racing to Donate to Local Charity;
In conjunction with Discount Tire Centers “Summer Drift Promotion”

RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, Calif. – Motegi Racing Performance Wheels is partnering with Discount Tire Centers to make a charitable donation to the Long Beach Police Officers Memorial Widows Emergency and Scholarship Trust Fund.

The Long Beach Police Officers Memorial Widows Emergency and Scholarship Trust Fund was set up over 30 years ago to assist the families and dependents of police officers that have been killed or injured in the line of duty. The donation by Motegi Racing will help provide support for families in a time when they need it the most.

In conjunction with the donation, Motegi Racing Performance Wheels will host 3 events for consumers and industry enthusiasts at select Discount Tire Centers stores this summer as part of the “Summer Drift Promotion”. The events will begin in July and run throughout the summer.

The kick-off event will take place at the Discount Tire Center located at 1310 Long Beach Blvd. in Long Beach, Calif. on Saturday, July 7th. The event will feature a meet and mingle with the Motegi Racing Drift Team, Tanner Foust, Stephan Papadakis, and Daijiro Yoshihara, and their competition drift vehicles, give-aways from Motegi Racing and promotional partners, and a display of the full 2007 Motegi Racing product-line. Consumers will receive a 10% discount for Motegi Racing wheel purchases that day as an added incentive.
