Sports And Touring CAr Racing (SATCAR) would like to invite interested drivers to attend the Formula Street Fall Series taking place at four tracks in the Midwest. These events offer a safe, cost effective way to get started and continue in road racing.

Each event will offer run groups for driving school, lapping/practice, race, and lunch time touring - - something for everyone. Drivers will be placed in appropriate groups, depending on track experience.

SATCAR has created a unique form of competition that provides high levels of safety for drivers and their cars combined with a handicap based scoring system that provides fairness for all drivers. The safety based format allows you to enter these events in your street car, or your race car. The scoring system allows a driver to win with 100 HP or 500 HP.

yeah. see speedventures and redline. there's a lot of other clubs that do track events too like miata, mr2 and alfa romero clubs.

i've done a ton of redline events and they are really good. speed ventures has a few in the upcoming weeks. i want to go but my car is being kinda finicky right now. one of the requisites is that your car is properly tuned for the safety of OTHERS. and that your car is in proper working order. you should also have your own helmet.

I received a recent inquiry about whether SATCAR events are currently available on the West Coast. Unfortunately, not yet. We are just launching the program and have concentrated near our headquarters for these first events.

SATCAR is being planned as a nationwide, possibly worldwide, racing program. To accomplish this, we are actively seeking Event Partners near each race track who will have the exclusive rights to offer SATCAR events at that track. As new Event Partners are added to the program, the events will spread to the represented tracks. The Event Partner program does require an investment to become involved.

Drivers - if you are in an area where we do not yet offer events, please encourage any of your interested friends to go to the SATCAR web site (Welcome to SATCAR!) and register for our mailing list. This provides us a picture of where interested drivers are located and allows us to prioritize our organizing activities to go where the greatest interest occurs. Being on the mailing list also allows us to keep you updated as the program grows.
