Update on the site, Upgrades and problems with things being down.
We had planned a good quick upgrade. Little things to be done and just revert a few others. Well, things went wrong..... completely wrong. This is out of character for our upgrades , usually a few clicks and tada. I tried numerous times to bring vb to the new version and it just wont mesh.
I think I figured out the problem but keep running into new ones. So instead of killing everyone im loading it up on the old stable vb.
And will be working out a few upgrades outside of the forum software to make this all work right. We wont be without superhonda now for much time as this version wont be touched from here out. Only thing is when we goto backup or swap we might loose some posts so beware. Before I was upgrading the DB at hand , I will now be doing this outside of the DB so we dont incur anymore unwanted down time, until its all figured out.
Photopost will soon be back up. Probably tonight.

Pretty wild how 2-3 days can seem like a lifetime.

Were staying in the version forever. That sounds like the usual sho, staying on old vb versions. Just read the first post more carefully.

I think it should be left how it is/was. I like it, it's easy to use, not many bugs, and after all it is what attracted the 100k+ members. I see no need for all the new little do-dads allthough they are cool and give the forum a different look. Just get our photo's back and call it a day IMO.
Good job though Mike, atleast you tried man. Now you just need a couple new mods

Your right we do need to dump a few old inactive mods and get some new ones....
You know, I hear there are mods out there that actually come to the forum and take care of what they were given. Yeah crazy concept right! I even hear some of these so called mods actually come to there forums and post too and some of them -big pause- even go as far as promote superhonda.
Yeahhhh, wish I knew more of these people.

ye thx Mike for trying. Even though the day when I can and the new version was on and I really liked the newer version. Aw well it woulda been sweet to get the new version as the thing you were promising for when we reached the certain member amount (100k+). Hopefully you didn't lose any of the previous daily SHO users in the process. But man I really do appreciate the time you spent probually trying things over and over and most likely getting frusturated when trying to do the upgrade.
And if you need a mod im always here lol. just in continuation to the topic which arose in the post in which I quoted
