b18 swap in hatch

Im getting ready to swap a b18a1 into my 89 hatch. I was wondering if anyone knew how much i have to cut the shift linkage? If anyone could help me it would be appreciated.

dont rigg up your shift linkage by cutting it...just buy the shift linkage you need. they make it ya know
