changing out cluster DIY

Hey all

some of you know what its like to buy a new cluster, and you want to somehow make it so you have your own miles on thier so you dont have to keep subtracting/adding mileage. or you have a jdm cluster and you keep forgetting that 50 kmh is NOT 50 mph well heres how you switch them out.

say you bought this lovely cluster

but you want YOUR miles heres what you do

Tools needed:
fingers
screwdriver









and just install your speedo in place of the old one and intsall is reverse of removal

just as illegal as gettin a non carb exempt turbo kit. seriously, of all the things ppl do to their cars nowadays, the cluster should be least of their worries on legality. besides whats he doin is to stay corrected on miles. i done it before, but now i have a jdm cluster and that just screws everything up.

function is why i would do it, but i dont see how it would be illegal because all your doing is putting the correct miles on the car and making it easier to read the speed.
