CUSTOM GAUGE INSTALL

i did this on a 1991 CRX
these are cyberdyne volts and air/fuel ratio gauges

you will need,
a large piece of plexiglass( you will make mistakes)
a scoring tool
tape measure
sharpie marker
flat black paint
gauges
and drill and hole saw

this is plexi

in trying to cut the size i needed, i made ALOT of mistakes

i have two gauges so i only cut two holes, but i know there is room for three, here is the rough piece i got.

i removed the center console and used the space where a CD played would go

this is a rough fitting...

i used silicone to hold the piece in place,

i had to use something to take up the space in the middle( so i used a shocker, but you can use other stuff)

here i am test fitting the gauges, i wrapped them in electrical tape so they would fit the holes snuggly

and from the side, i think they fit well

and finally it is in the car

and lit up at night, i think job well done

not bad , get rid of all the finger prints!!! actually they DO make colored plastic sheets you can buy so you dont have to paint the shit, and you didnt want a radio in your car? i dont have to worry bout needing a volt meter, my deck has a setting where it will display the voltage as the screensaver
