i just did this on my 98, it was similar, but not exactly the same. the cloth area is smaller, for one. theres a foam pad that had to be trimmed to get all of the plastic rivets off. and i used vinyl, which, proved to be difficult to get flat in the areas on the ends (where there's roundish-sphereish curves)
but the premise is the same

the first one was sort of a "learning experience" so my drivers side doesn't look professional. however, once i figured out what i needed to do, the console and pass. side armrest looks excellent, almost like it was intended to be there. now i think i'm going to tackle making my own two-tone vinyl seat covers using the stock cloth as a pattern... just need to learn how to sew
*edit--i would (have) take(n) pictures, but BOTH of my digicams aren't working for some reason....very aggravating

youd be surprised how popular a lot of things are. the market for sleeper products is huge since most states treat you like a jew in 1943 poland if youre a ricer
Mods: Full VIS bodykit, VIS Carbon Fiber Invader hood, 99 GSR Dash and console, JDM Steering wheel, 2.5in Tenzai catback exhaust, TYC one peice projectors, Depo led tailights, 17" Gunmetal Evolution Rims wrapped in Toyo Proxes FZ4s, and not enough room
I just started, my door panels on my 95 4dr, I got a awesome lightblue Carbon fiber leather, and the glue from there it was brush on, not a spray, the first one I did I didnt' rip off the old fabric and it sucked. I did my passenger ripped off the old stuff then burned off the rest of the fiber still left on the peice then glued it on, looks awesome. I also had a question on getting it back on the door panel not understanding quite how you did it?
screw the insert into the door panel.. just use short screws so that u dont go through it. another idea instead of melting off all the clips.. is to chizzle it off then u have a better surface in the end for puttin in those screws.
i jsut used a box knife to slice off those plastic things, and really short screws... also, you should sand the plastic armrests after you pull the old fabric off so the glue will work beter
