half-ass black-housing and new lenses.

My old lenses were very scratched and I didn't fell like buffing/polishing them. Plus, I wanted to black-house my headlights, so I purchased some "new" (use4d, but great condition) lenses. I didn't want to do a complete black-housing, so I just painted the amber plastic peices. I replaced all the bulbs while I had them out. As you can see I broke one of the amber peices (left headlight). I've cleared many headlights, and this was one my worst experience! I broke everything I touched today.

Dont use a heat gun. Put them in the oven at 250 degrees for 5-6 mins. AND DONT FORGET THEM! With two screw drivers and minimal preying they come right apart. I've done this several times, works great.

You guys giving me instructions to take the headlights apart... how do you suppose I got the reflector, which is INSIDE the headlight, painted? I took them apart! I've done it about 15 times. Thanks though!
