so you think the "polishing shop" has a magical lathe that is just for polishing random valve covers that come into the shop ive worked in a detail shop and in an auto shop for 4+ years, i can tell you about 15 ways to achieve the same result without going to a polishing shop.......being in colorado i have never heard of a fucking polishing shop before this..... and as stated before....the only way to polish is by HUMAN HAND....be it with tools or strictly hand .....there is no machine that i know of that is designed to detail and polish cars and their parts, as far as my bike frame..woopity doo its just a honda CR with a polished frame im sure youve seen them before.......if you need help checking your oil too, let me know, i can show you how to do it in 3 steps, without an oil checking machine, if you wanna be a jackass and call me out on the bike ill post pics, of a frame i polished in 2 hours and make you look like a retard for paying someone to polish 1/16th of your valve cover

Jeez, get over it already ,I thought this post was done a month ago,Get that chip off your shoulder.When I said machine ,I didnt mean a machine holds the part and polishes it ,of course a man holds the part and takes it to the wheel that is on a big motor and has differant wheels on it .I work building racing brake calipers and when you have to polish 400 calipers a day you dont do it with a hand help tool of any kind ,just not time effective.Not everyone who has a car they want to modify have the tools or ability to do everything themselves,I was merely offering another example of how it could be done You assume a lot when you think I paid to have this done,I am not a retard like you.You have added enough negativity to this post ,so please just stop and dont reply.

not trying to be a dick, but ive been around cars and working on them since i was in 2nd grade, yeah im young im only 25 but what you elders dont seem to realize is that there is us young people that DO know their shit, we are not all retards and incompitent....if thats how you want to treat/percieve me that is how i will act.... simple as that, also realize i know not everyone has the tools or ability to do it themselves, guess im just lucky cause i have both right? maybe that comes from the years learning and actually doing it? yeah i am young and drunk most of the time, but i tend to look to my elders for knowledge and experience, i meant no disrespect towards you, as you were offering a diffrent approach, its just my opinion that for the average DIY'er the most efficient way is sandpaper and mothers polish, if you have access to a polishing shop.... fine, good, but not everyone does for free
