yea im trying to get one for my y8 and i thought they are interchangable. but someone told me here that it doesnt line up some ay it does and some say it dont i just want to find out before i let u knoe.

ALL D-series trannies between the years of 92-00 will bolt up to any d-series engine between the years of 92-00. I have my CX trans bolted to a OBD1 DOHC ZC motor.

yea but i also heard from some people they dont bolt up so i just want to make sure..

well, i'm tellin you, i have done many of swaps. The F-series trans bolt onto the h-series and vise versa. All b-series transmissions work on all b-series motors. The P20 trans, which is off the D15B7 will bolt onto a D16Z6, D15B8, D15Z1 and so forth. Hell, the obd1 hydro trans will even bolt to the D-series motors in the 88-91 CRX/Civics. If this doesn't do you justice, than you need to stop being so paranoid.You can trust me, i've been doing this for 4-5 years and have done more than just the D-series motors. The D16Y8 S40 or S80(not exact on that right now) will bolt to any D16Z6, D15B7, D15B8 or D15Z1. Will also bolt to the D16A6, D15B2, D15B and such which are obd0 motors. The trans mounts are all the same!!!! The only one different would be the newer D17's found in the 01' and up civics.

ive done many swap myself but never had to mix match trannys. but if u say it is den thats coo ill look for one den.
