1990 Honda Civic LX
OKay, this is a car I bought as a project car/fixer-upper. Waited 4 weeks for my title from Penndot, and since then, have been working on my other car and thinking about buying something new, probably a 99 SI thats for sale here in my area. Anyways, I want to sell this, as the last buyer fell through. I don't have pictures right now, I will try and get some updated ones with the Digi. Anyways, It needs 2 new front axles, Left outer tie rod end, and Lower ball joints for both sides..It also needs new pipes from the cat to the muffler, i was quoted $50 for that though...In parts, that'd be around $300-$400, depending on where u get the parts (buddy at advanced auto gave me an estime of a round $325). It sounds to me like the car was in a front end collision, part of the front bumper is mising, but will pass inspection, its the lower portion of the grill. It needs a new paint job, I was prepping it for paint, but never finished, whoever had it spray painted it. The engine is in good condition.
Interior wise, I painted and sanded a couple of parts that I had picked up from the junkyard a glossy blue. It has a Type R shift knob (Blue). There are no rear deck speakers, but the wires are ready. I paid $90 for a local shop to wire up the cd player, as the previous owner completely cut off the wiring harness. I will include a CD player if wanted, its the newer sony's with 7 colors, for $70 bucks more (retail $190). It doesn't need much..it just needs some TLC..and my little girl (10 months) is occupying a big part of my life right now as I spend alot of time with her..I just want to get back almost all i have into it. $800 is what I am asking. It would be perfect for a swap, which was what I wanted to do, but I am serious about buying this SI so i don't have to do work. All it needs is some TLC. So, throw me some offers if your looking for a good shell, or looking for something to fix up. I am located in Chambersburg, Pa. right near MD state line at Hagerstown.
