F/S, F/T 97 Accord SE

Before you read the below: i am currently on oklahoma but i'll be home in denton, texas duing august. i'll be happy to trade/ sell my car during that time period.
if i happen to sell it, i'll have to find another car to drive before i sell it, thanks.

my email is: fastshift@live.com
email me for your number if you'd like to talk on the phone

97 Accord SE

I’m the forth owner of this car and it has been my DD.
it has a clear title,
The odometer reads approx. 130xxx
I bought this car in august of 2006 w/ 116xxx on it
i am a college student looking for another car.
no i do not abuse my car. no mod has been done except minor sound upgrade (if you could call an aftermarket HU and speakers are real upgrades)
yes, i am still a teenager and i admit i am not the best driver in the world. but for those who are looking for adult driven cars i don't think this car would disappoint you.

At the time of purchase (116xxx):
Both new axles
New timing belt
New valve cover gasket
Tranny flushed
New power steering belt
New alternator belt
And misc. replaced

In May of 2007:
New power steering reservoir, and in/out hoses – filled w/ genuine Honda P/S fluid

In September of 2007:
New battery from Wal-Mart

In November of 2007 (124xxx):
New front tires – at Goodyear
New oil pan gasket
New rear drum brakes
Alignment

Others:
New fender liner/splash guard done – right one was done in early 2007 (I believe), left one done in October, 2007.

Exterior
need no major body work
(I am not responsible for all those damages)
might need a new paint job but it isn't too bad
Nothing major that needs to be done.
No crack on any glasses, but the front windshield has some scratches from previous owners.
All windows seem to be working fine but front 2 windows move up and down quite slow and it gets worse when it rains / it is moist. I found out that I have to push the glass to one side so it moves normally so I’m thinking the mechanism has to be either replaced/or repaired. IT DOES WORK BUT IT COULD BE BETTER.
3rd brake light does not work, not because it’s broken, it is missing the harness for it. I looked for it but it just seems that it DID NOT COME W/ THE CAR FROM THE FACTORY. NO, IM NOT KIDDING. There is not even a hint of the existence of the harness for the 3rd brake light.

Interior
No tear
Non-smoker
Pretty clean

Power train
Engine: stock F22B2 (stock everything)
Stock auto tranny.
new parts (belts etc) see above
Oil change was done every 3000 mi, w/ Quaker State. 5W30
Front left upper control arm may need to be replaced because the boot of the ball joint is in bad shape and grease is coming out of it. But I’ve had no problem driving w/ it.

I am asking $5000 OBO

sry about the long post

i have only one picture at this moment but i'll take some pix tomorrow and post them up.

or willing to trade w/ clean, street legal EH hatch or EK hatch.
it must pass inspection w/ the condition at purchase

im looking for a hatch with:
Stock engine w/ low mileage or D16Y8 or B16A2 w/ M/T
P/S, A/C, preferably stock I/H/E but nice aftermarket would be nice as well
Stock suspension in good condition is preferred but aftermarket suspensions are also okay
decent paint and no body work needed.
Stock steering wheel (w/ airbag)

I know I’m prolly asking too much and i know one of these "options" may have to be given up
But I don’t want to drive in Texas w/o A/C, I don’t want to have to deal w/ no power steering. And etc.

So please pardon me for asking for a such car but I just have to

Thanks for looking.

Jin
