Arrow this is annyoing

My fuel gauge stays above the f anytime I take a turn 2 fast or take it to any high speeds or rev the car up need help it sometimes goes down but only if its cold outside.

It will do that if its 98* outside or if it's -12* outside. Temp doesn't directly effect that. The reason it does that is because the fuel sensor is a float sensor. So when you turn one direction (I believe left) it will raise the fuel gauge higher (imagine fuel sloshing around). I really don't see how it's annoying.

Anyway, there is your answer.

yeah well

The gauge does'nt move around it stays above the F. Why does this only happen on my ride when everyone else's read correct. Next time please give me a more suitable answer than (imagine fuel sloshing around) c'mon now dude how long do u think I've been a driver and/or anyone with a brain that knows gas goes in gas tank DA DAH DA! Sorry that I didn't state in my first post that is stays there. The only time its gone down is if I start the car when it is cold outside.

Your fuel sensor works like a potentiometer...if it doesnt contact well, it reads full. Remove the sensor and clean the contact or buy a new one. Cornering/temp will effect how it contacts.
