Depends, OBD1 more basic, better in most cases, OBD2 more confusing, but more sensors/readings

well im planning on rebuilding it and i wanna shave the head as well as port' n polish it, and port the intake manifold to match the head too. I'm also thinking about boring it out and getting a cam. what else could i do to the car tuning wise and to make this setup work?

boost is the only thing that you can do to that motor that will make noticeable gains. but that means getting rid of your cai and getting a bigger exhaust. but you need suspension before all else or you will kill yourself

how deep are you pockets. most people recommend shocks/struts springs for beginners. kyb, koni yellows, etc. or if you could do entry level coilovers which are ab out 800-1200 bucks.

lower doesn't always mean better. alot of people lower their cars and acutally make them handle worse than stock. it depends on what you wanna do with the car. drag, road race auto-x, etc. find out wha tyou wanna do and research it.
