help with fuel tuning items! need ideas

i was thinking about getting a VAFC II for my 97 civic ex d16y8 5 speed
ive got some typical bolt ons and wass wanting to know some pluses about it, i have a 255 lph walbro fuel pump that i want to install, but i was told i need a fpr to bump it back down to proper fuel pressure

can the VAFC help tune that with it?
im new to tuning stuff with means other than timing and ignition timing so bear with me,

leave your fuel system alone. It is good enough to support more power than you will ever make unless you are running some form of boost like turbo/nitrous.

The walbro 255lph is an 800hp fuel pump. The 190lph is good for about 600hp. So needless to say, either is way overkill and if you use them, you will have trouble getting your fuel pressure correct at idle.

A fuel pressure regulator is a waste unless you have done some serious work to the motor like an intake manifold, cams, headwork, etc.

A vafc would be a waste of money as well on a motor with bolt-ons.

Why did you buy that pump? Even with an FPR, it might not be possible to back the pressure down to where you need it to be - which is right about stock anyway.

Just leave it alone for now.
