help, walbro fuel pump!!!

hey guys, my stock fuel pump ate shit on me, and i bought a new 255lph walbro one.
i started looking and was wondering if i put that in my car will it hurt anything. do i need a fuel pressure regulator, rail, injectors, ?
im kinda lost right now, no clue what to do

First, you shouldn't have bought a 255lph pump. That is way overkill for your setup. Even a 190lph Walbro would be a lot more than you need.

You need an adjustable FPR if you want to save any hope of having it run right. And not a B&M one because those have a limit to how low they can adjust. Do NOT get upgraded injectors or a fuel rail as that will just make things worse.

I'd suggest buying a different fuel pump. Stock should do unless you have big upgrades planned.

With such a big pump, you will have trouble with it idling even with a proper fuel pressure regulator.

It will run richer than normal. But nothing abnormal that you will notice. However it has failed my smog inspection do to extra fuel. Get a adjustable FPR and fuel pressure gauge and lower the fuel pressure. Its about ~ 4psi higher than normal.
