hondata question

ok I got my car tuned and it ran good for a little bit and started running like sh!t. the air fuel now is going lean and this morning it went all the way to 10.0 . he said the tune it had was bad and he had to make one up from scratch. he thought it was a p28 ecu but right before he tuned it I found out its a p30 and told his employee. if he tuned it like a p28 and not a p30 could that be my problem? also could someone tell me how to check codes. I tried to search and came up with dick. my car is a f23 95 civic. when I try to check my codes the engine light stays on. also my distributor is leaking oil enternaly. dont really think the distributor is my problem.

Don't know about the tuning part.

But as for checking codes. Drop down your Glove Box and reach back in there to the left. You should see a rubber deal. Pull out the plug that has 2 wires going to it and jump it with a paper clip. Once you turn the ignition on the CEL light will blink and tell you the code number.

This is a good thing to know as you can't adjust idle speed via the idle adjustment screw or adjust ignition timing without first jumping the ECU.
