Just bought '04 Acura RSX-S do I HAVEEEE to use premium unleaded?

Well it says on the gas tank that it takes premium unleaded only. Do I have to use that, it is so expensive! What exactly happens if I use unleaded?

Dude, premium is usually only like 20 cents more than regular. That means if you put in 10 gallons of premium, your spending a whopping 2 more dollars at the pump than you would have with regular. Just run premium.

Honestly man, if you're worried about expensive then why buy an '04 RSX in the first place? If you respect your car and you want it to last then burn PREMIUM.

premium is what the car calls for.. premium fuels burn and detonate at differnt temps than regular.. it is also a little thinner.. if you do use regular you cause your knock sensor and ecu to work harder to adjust.. i'd spend the 2 bucks more on a full tank of fuel and be safe...

yes! You car will not explode if you use regular but its a bad idea for so many reasons. If you really waant to know why just search.
