Hello, I am sending you this message as you are a mod and may be able to answer it for me. I recently posted as a new member and have received a reply via my email. When I click on the link in the email it takes me to my thread but there is no reply shown.. The reply also does not appear even if I go directly into the website. The stats show that there have been over 100 views and no replies so I am wondering how my email says that I have had a reply but with nothing on the actual site. The reply is rather a silly one anyway so I am not too bothered. I am more concerned that something has appeared in my email. It will be interesting to see if you come up with anything. Thank you.
hey? for you if i were to up my injectors to some thing a little better is there any cars out there that i can go to a junk yard and pull the injectors that would fit my integra ls or would i have to buy them off line im hopeing buy next summer to turbo the teg i jusst need some advice and u seem to be noligible any feed back would be appreciated
The have some new compressor/turbine blade setups that are supposed to be pretty hardcore. I'm just trying to gather up real experiences that people have had with various turbos. More so with a vgt style turbo.
How was it controlled? Boost pressure? Like a wastegate? If you had a choice would you rather have a hx35 or the RS? I don't want to limit my cars peak power because I have a demand for low spooling setups similar to the throttle response of N/A engines.
I still need an h series engine to start my project:/. Find me one with a snapped timing belt!
the hx35 got sold to a friend and ran fine. alot of top honda drag racers actually use them...they're crazy efficient and reliable. it made over 400whp on a 2.0 ....the vgt is ok....it was more to make a point and be unique. spa turbos are another cost effective yet performance effective means to put down good numbers with reliability and response....garret i so overrated. i only run a garret because i got a good deal...(700) for a barely used gt2860rs
so hows that hx35 on that 240? did it perform mad ass while it lasted? I was considering on the VGT turbos for my build. I've heard they fail to EGT's over 1200 degreese though.
well he's wrong.... more displacment doesn't always equal more potential since you're power is directly related to volumetric efficiency. if you have a crazy big motor and a shitty ass head.....then you will make no power
