Honda Prelude Greddy Header Install & Exhaust Port Cleaning & Polish
Install Vehicle 93 Honda Prelude VTEC

Reason: If your installing a header you might as well clean up all the carbon if your car is older and polish out the metal too to get some smoother exhaust flow.

Tools needed:

First port done. The one on the left is finished. The one on the right had a some of the first stage of sanding.

Started on the second port. Needs to be polished still but that's after the last stage of wet sanding.

Two more exhaust ports to go. This is turning out to be hard as with big hands your knuckles hit the exhaust manifold bolts/studs.

Pretty much done here , just a few things to touch up and on goes everything. I also sprayed some carbon cleaner in there.

Now Start putting everything back on starting by throwing on the gasket and just bolting up the Manifold , but don't tighten anything yet.

Go under the car and bolt the gasket & downpipe from the header to the cat but don't fully tighten , also connect the rubber hanger .

Now you put the 2nd gasket in between the two portions where they connect and either get someone to put pressure on the bolt or try using vice-grips on the bolts to keep them still. There's 3 bolts one is sort of hidden.

Put the o2 sensor back in.

Finally tighten up every bolt but don't tighten up just one bolt make sure they are all evenly going down. Then give them all the final torque needed.
