nitrous questions...help a newbie. thanx!

i noticed for almost every nitrous kit on the market; there is for sale a:
(1) BOTTLE WARMER
(2) PURGE KIT

i asked the company if those were necessary & there was no response.

do you really need those items? thanx!

purge kit isn't needed unless your trying to run consistant times every run. bottle warmer depends on how cold its gets. for optimum power you need to keep the pressure between 950-1050, its pretty hrd to do that without the heater. IMO go for the bottle heater and don't worry about the purge kit. but you don't HAVE to get either , the bottle warmer would help out especially if your having trouble keeping the bottle at a constant pressure

Like NOSGSR said neither of the too are necessary. If you plan on racing at night, the bottle heater is helpful because you can use every ounce of your bottle efficiently. The purge is beneficial if you are one of those people that drive around with your bottle ready to go. That way, at the end of the night, you can turn off the bottle and vent the line without inhaling it by opening the fitting.

Neither are absolutely necessary, but I do recommend getting both to help maximize the potential of your setup.
