Honda Pilot VTM-4 Light

My VTM-4 light has been on for a long time now. We have tried to look up the reason for it coming on and every site says something different. We have cleaned out the intake manifold, changed the EGR valve and are replacing the upstream O2 sensor now based off other sites. Seems like it’s not the right thing to fix it since the light is an indicator of the traction control malfunctioning causing the vehicle to stay in 4 wheel drive. Any ideas!!?
