has anyone tried to install altezza on their 01-02 4dr civic on their car??if so could you please show me how to take the outter piece out? after removing 3 screws on the tail lights... i also spot 2 other clips that the tail light is holding onto the body... but still can't get it out... is there any other clips on the stock tail light, where i can pull the tail light out???

Actually, they may be in there kind of snug. Just kind of hit the back of them towards the direction they go out. I had to do this to my civic the other day when I took one of the tails out.

nah i tried to install on my friend's car... she had the 3rd type..i tried to pull the outter piece out, but it wouldn't come out....saw the 2 clips that they held on the body. but still couldn't get it out..

No wonder they won't come out Man, those 3rd one with the chrome are played to death on every damn car / truck / van around

It shouldn't be much more holding the tails in besides the screws....

That may be the problem. You are trying to pull them out. You need to serously get behind the tails and use your palm to free them up. >>>> by hitting the backside of the tails.

i tried dat 2. but there's something holding on the bottom of the tail light, feels like there's some clips toward the bottom too...
