Does anyone know exacticly the differences between the engines of the Civic Type R and the Civic Si? (USDM 160 hp si and European/JDM type R 200hp)

The SI has a 160 motor and a TYPE R has a 200 motor.
So if you have a si get a RSX TYPE S motor and you'll have a CIVIC TYPE R

Civic si shares the same engine as the new i4 accord and the base RSX. The Type R ha the same engine as the RSX-s. Bassicaly if you want to know all the dfferences compare the RSX-S and base RSX engine and youll have your answer

The new Accord doesn't use a 2.0 Base RSX engine, it uses the 160 HP 2.4 liter CRV Engine. The new Integra (RSX) Type R (DC5) uses a similiar engine to the RSX-S but puts out 220 HP with its higher compression.

no no no when i said that thr rsx-s has the same engine as the type r i meant the civic type r not the RSX-R. as for the i4 accord yeah your right the accord uses the cr-v 2.4l 4 not the 2.0.
