08 civic guard rolling

My girlfriend drives a new 08 civic with 18x8 rims and the back rims hit when there is to much weight in the trunk or there are two ppl in the back seat.
So I wanted to know if guard rollling would bring the value of the car down or up. My girlfriend keeps contradicting me and has me confused. Also does anyone have any experience on how to do this.

Uhh, you got suspension problems if the rims are hitting the top of the fender lining. I have about 100lbs of audio equipment and maybe another 100lbs of tools inh the back of my del sol, im about 250, and I can have a passenger, and cant hit the fender linign unless i really roll around a corner at stupid speeds.
take it to a dealership and have it checked. Somethings definetly not right.
BTW, both my back springs and my front driver springs are broken, plus all 4 struts are bad. and my car is 15-16 years old

what happens is the wheels are to wide. my 18x7 rims on the accord do the same thing over bumps even without people in the backseat, but the 100+ lbs of stereo equipment dont help. a friend at work suggested bump stops, which are bushings that only let the suspension settle so far down, not effecting the performance until they have weight on them. an 18x8 rim will most definitely have the same issue.

Anyways, I didnt take into consideration tire width. Mine are stock spec, so super skinny and same height.
Maybe its time for some stiffer suspension, and definitely X2 on the bump stops.

them rims are wide as fuck get your fender lips rolled at a body shop
apparently you can't read cause the whole point of this thread is the op asked if he rolled the fenders on the civic if it decrease the value.who said value?

roll the fenders if you sell the car with the wheels on them no one is gonna care that you rolled the fenders to make them fit.

You don't roll the fender liner, you roll the fender. You can cut the liner like I've had to do on the front of my car...
Also - those rims are ginormous for that car. Maybe if I see a pic I'll change my mind, but it doesn't sound pretty :dunno:
