For my Civic, brakes are done RR, LF, RF, RL...damn man, I forget, it's something like that. I have Speed Bleeders, so I can do them myself in about 20 minutes, with a complete flush of the entire system which I do yearly. Never did my valves, but you have to have I think a screwdriver, feeler gauges, and knowledge of TDC and camshaft rotation to align the pistons at TDC each time and adjust the corresponding valves. If you do this by yourself make sure you know what your doing. Get a Helm's man, it will simplify your life greatly whenever you have questions about your car. Every nut and bolt in that car is in that book.
