Is it possible to run a 125 shot from a NOS plate kit on a stock block GSR?

Yes it is possible, there used to be a guy on here that had a 100 shot plate kit and a 20 shot sneaky pete. But he mostly only used the 100 shot .If you are spraying that big, stock motor moderation is the key.
So some people do remember SD-streetracer. That's good. He's the h o n d a n e t . o r g nitrous mod, now. If you guys get tired of SHO or need some serious nitrous tech stop on by.

I am glad you told me I will probably be on there more now.
125hp shot on a stock GsR block is possible, but probably won't last for too long, eventually the piston rings are probably going to go. I'd keep it a 100hp.
Plate kits tend to hit pretty hard. You might want to stage it - perhaps 75 through the plate and 50 through a nozzle, or a similar combination. That way you can bring it on a bit more smoothly. I believe there are controllers that will allow you to set whatever delay you want between the two shots.
Ah newbies. SD-streetracer has been running this set up with a jacob's nitrous mastermind for over 2 years. His motor is still running strong.

Mugen's just pissy because he dosent know anything.
ahh, sd . havent heard about him in forever. im gonna have to go over there now.
then how much can a 2.2 vtec handle with a plate kit?
They don't make plate kits for the prelude. I'm not going to recommend anything above a 100 shot on a stock block prelude. You can run a 125 shot, and if you tune it well it'll hold up, but I can't recommend it.
You could run that much on a GS-R, but just make sure you pull plenty of timing out and run race fuels to help prevent detonation.

Later, Chris
