I agree with myflysi. 18" rims are heavy and they will slow you down. If you want them, get em. There are some really nice forged performance rims available, ie. Volks, Racing Hart, SSR, Spoon, etc. 16in-17in. I am going with 16in performance rims. I think with a nice drop they will look good. 17s are nice too. Good luck.

You should really get 17" their hot.. 16"are too small and
18" are too big the but the 17" are just right. You can still
whip and around and look hot..;)
I agree 17 is just right. Get some light though, I won't be getting any rims until I can afford some that are 17 pounds or less per wheel. I kinda like the rota subzero in 17 and gunmetal that are 139 per wheel at diablo. I love the volk te-37 in bronze on an FBP. Talk about opposite ends of the price scale.

if you go for looks, get 18s for sure, but if you want all around civic, get 17s, lighter as well
but you can get the lightweight 18s if you want for more dollars...
my 2 cents

18's are OVERKILL on a civic man!!
17's are pretty heavy, but definately dope.
16's are what I would get
15's stock look good when lowered
14 inch SPOON racing rims for all go.

but DO NOT get 18's man... get dubs instead
 :D

18's are just too big for a torqueless car like our Si's
17's still too big but it looks good:) but still not a good idea if you want performance IF you drive a civic
16's perfect size even better if you get superlight ones
15's perfect size for all around performance and it looks good in my opinion especiall some slipstreams (coming soon).

My car is slow enough that i want to get stick with lightweight 15's...hahaha

get 18's only if you plan on showing your car.
18's will not offer any performance.
17's are nice but some of them are heavy and kill performance.
i currently have Konig Toxxins 17"s and i'm getting rid of them.
i'm getting the rota slipstreams 16's.
question????.......do you guys think some flat black rota slipstreams would look good on a purple civic??
let me know. i'm selling the toxxins for $800 with pirelli p7000ss tires. if interested let me know.
