I might be selling my rims to my brothers friend. He has a 1997 honda civic ex. It is dropped I think 2" mabe 2.5" my question to everyone is will a 215/40/17x7.5 fit on his civic. The offset is 42. We put them on his car and they look good, maybe a skinny finger between the fender and the tire. Will he rub like mad or just be pushing it? He said he is going to get his fenders rolled but I am not sure if that will be enough. Another question do you think you could put a 205 tire on there?Any info or experience would be appreciated. Thanks

Theres gonna be rubbage probably with the 7.5" rim. Man, i rub like crazy just with a 7" wide rim. Obviously, if its slammed majorly, he's going to have to take it very easy on the turns.
