[2000Honda]

I have a 2000 accord getting its second timing belt (LX 4 cyl). I bought a timing belt kit that included timing belt and guide and balance shaft belt and guide. I also got a new thermostat and hoses as well as accesory belt and water pump+gasket. Is their anything i am missing that should be done at this time?

It is an auto that has had exempler maintence (tranny flushes every 30K etc). THe majority of the miles occurred over the last 2 years at a rate of over 60K a year.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

on your first timing belt change, did you happen to have trouble with getting the crankshaft bolt off? We had to use an impact gun made for airplanes to get it off, 4 hours later. (breaker bar, regular impact guns, etc etc didnt work)

We got the bolt off using a 3/4 inch impact wrench. It says not to use air instaling but when consulting the shops around here this is what the respectable shops used. Darn thing is at 181 ft lbs!
