Timing belt broke when traveling about 30 mph. Is their a slight chance that my valves were not ruined or bent? I have read it's a 50/50 chance on this that the replacement of a timing belt if very lucky. Been told that removing the head and viewing the valve distance may tell....

I have my fingers crossed on my 1990 Acura Integra GS......just hope the pistons were not making contact with the valves when it died. otherwise, big bucks or a junkyard. Opinions. I didn't title the first one correctly.
Typical newbie.....oops.
