and why do you have a 9K redline on a stock d15?

I bought an ecu and it was supposed to be 8500rpm, but a 9k was shipped. I asked how reliable it would be and the guy told me he has had them on his cars for a long time stock form. He said I wouldn't want to climb that high boosting above 10psi though on stock internals. I have been driving this thing for 8months without any issues and I keep the fluids checked, so it seems fine.

2k above redline isn't bad. And if you disagree, then I dont know what to say except go around and see what people are running instead of your run of the mill Hondas. Mine isn't a beast, I just did research and keep up my fluids to ensure proper durability of the motor. I did forget to mention that I have a cometic headgasket on it for durability.
