I know these two taillights are different, because the earlier one has the yellow/orange box on the ends (turn signals). If i bought the 2000 stock taillights would it fit on the earlier models??

Yes, the 94+ integra tail lights are interchangable.

As deMad10 said, they are interchangable, but make sure you match up 2 door to another 2 door and 4 door to 4 door, just making sure you knew that before you accidently got the wrong ones.
