Hi, my L4 98 Accord has 140K miles and uses lots of oil and gas, did a compression test and one cylinder is leaking bad. After squirting oil in the piston the compression numbers didn't change so it must be a burnt valve. What's the best option? I've worked on engines before, but none had complex variable timing, how manageable is the valve job on the car? Any specifics on this particular engine? Is the Haynes manual the best reference to undertake this job? I'm reluctant to take the car to the dealer..
