Is it worth the $ to have my 2000 Civic taken in to retrhead a bolt hole for the motor mount .... I can't retrhead because the area is to tight an area . No room to tap . So I'm thinking, the only way possible is to have the engine lifted . I'm not sure on what to do .??? Would love any feedback. Another thing to mention is I have to replace my transmission mount also . I have the parts .so I just need to get a hole rethreaded and the the mounts remounted. What would be the price I would be looking at having a shop do the work ? And is it worth it?

So I go to install my stiffy and I found out that my motor mount bolt hole is stripped. Should I use a helia coil or a tap and die set on the threads. How could this happen could Honda have done it from the factory or from the mounts moving so much and causing stress snaptube on the bolt and threads?
