Hey guys and gals, does anyone know if the 2000 Civic SIr rear spoiler, the one that comes stock with the SIr (the "mid" one?) is the same as the JDM Type R spoiler?

I haven't seen any pics of what the JDM Type R 2DR coupe looks like. There's so much stuff in rear spoilers for JDM hatches!

There was no Civic Type R coupe made. The Type R's only came in hatches.

I think he was referring to the ITR????

possibly, but the itr is also not a coupe

Thanks for the feedback guys! I was contemplating an aftermarket spoiler, but I think I may just get the SIr style for my coupe. I find some aftermarket ones a bit big, and the aluminum ones are a bit flashy for the rest of my car (very stock exterior). They look cool on really done up rides tho.

good choice, i wouldn't go with anything besides stock wing or no wing i think they look the best. When my oem spoiler was stolen i got a look alike from www.spoiler.ws for like 127 shipped. It looks exactly like oem and it good quality. Check them out. HTH
