hahha i've done that on ym sedan.... but you need amber bulbs, but it's hard to find amber bulbs for the rear signal most company makes clear bulbs... which you can get ticket forjschmid said:

too bad smoked lights doesnt look good on white as on black.

i just changed my rear lights to the clear and red..
i forgot about buyin the amber bulbs but i figured i could do that without much of a problem ....

well taking the orange box isn't illegal, but as long as you replace the bulbs with amber, if not, you can get tickets like my, that's y now I'm with AltezzaQuik02Accord said:
but luckly i found some cheap amber bulbs on AutoDynamic.com they're like $8/pair, i think they're the same with hyper whites... so i'm going to put my custom red/clear tail later.....as far as taking them... i forgot, there's a place that show you how to do it on 5th gen accord... it's basiclly the same procedures on 01-02 accords.....
here's some examples....
yes i had hyper white bulbs on there... got ticketed once
and replace them with stock bulbs, which is clear.... and still got ticketd... i just hate cops in cities around me... i've been driving on that hyper for like 6 months in my area, no problem, but when i went to the cities around my place... got pull over every time... sux...Those actually look really good!!
