Marking the end of the R34 GT-R, is the 2002 Skyline Nur. The name stands for Nürburging, which hints at the car's racing pedigree.

Its the enigne sets the Nur apart from any other Skyline. It is based on the N1 racing unit which has a specifically prepared block, pistons and connecting rods. Unrestricted, the N1 engine will push 450 BHP. With a little tuning, the engine could far exceed that. To meet legal regulations, Nissan has restricted and rated the car to 280 BHP.

1000 of these specially prepared skylines will be offered, all of which have been pre-purchased. Good to see the last of the mighty R34's go out in style.

This full time 4WD 2.5L N1 Inline-6 that makes 280.0 bhp @ 6800 rpm and 289.1 ft lbs @ 4400 rpm. But remember, this is legally set at 280 to meet the quota but could be tuned easily to 450hp+ Nissan, please listen to us and bring this baby here!

this is the only big pic, i promise...

I know the RB268DETT is 10 years old!

But is not like what honda did.
They replace the B engines with a better power engine.
But nissan is replaceing the RB26DETT with a lower power engine!
That's the part gone wrong!
