i just bought an accord and the battery was taken out so the radio reset. i found the code and got the radio working. the cd player does not work. pressing the cd/aux button doesnt do anything. it doesnt take discs in. pressing load does nothing. i think it might have some discs in it. please help because i dont want to go to the dealer. the dealer will try to screw me.

where did you buy the car from? a private owner? a used dealership? how many miles are on the car? it's probably still under factory warranty if it's got low mileage and is a 2003 model.

car is from an auction. i dont think honda will give me any breaks. it has 22k miles. this is gay, i think im going to have to buy another one from ebay.

I work at a honda dealership and we have tons of 03 accords with the saem problem. U can take it to the dealership and they should take car of it since they know its a very common problem. Honda will send u back ur CDs with a new radio.
