2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan Pics *UPDATED with specs*

Pics leaked a day early. Suppose to be revealed at the NY Auto Show tomorrow. Credits go to da mayor of g35driver.com for the pics.

I like what I see, but glad it doesn't make my 06 G sedan look too dated. Will be updated with specs.

*UPDATE*
More info (from Nissan/Infiniti)...

At a Glance: 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan

The all-new 2007 Infiniti G Sedan, which goes on sale in November 2006, is the second generation of Infiniti’s groundbreaking sport sedan. First introduced in 2002 as an alternative to the existing “machine-like” vehicles in class, everything about the new 2007 G is designed to create a more powerful driving sensation – from its rewarding performance and the sophisticated exterior, to the finely crafted interior and intuitive technology.

The new G’s exterior continues the original vibrant design theme with seductive, athletic styling that is clean, simple yet very distinctive. Key design elements include the sculpted grille blades, iconic headlights and taillights and the new, crisp character line that emphasizes the G’s aggressive rear-wheel drive appearance.

Inside, the all-new interior design is refined, inviting and offers a new level of modern warmth and hospitality. The G interior also offers unique features such as the white-and-violet Fine Vision gauge illumination and high-touch, textured aluminum-alloy trim with "Washi" (traditional Japanese handmade paper) patterning.

Available advanced technologies include RearView Monitor, a touch screen navigation system with available real-time traffic and the audiophile-quality Infiniti Studio on Wheels™ by Bose®, combining the industry’s first 3-way front door speaker array using 10-inch woofers with an audiophile quality head unit incorporating a 24-bit Burr Brown® Digital Audio Converter.

The heart of the G35 remains its advanced engine, platform and drivetrain, anchored by the “next generation” of the award-winning VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6, now rated at an estimated 300-plus horsepower*. The standard V6 is mated to a choice of a 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and Downshift Rev Matching or close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission. Steering wheel-mounted solid magnesium paddle shifters are standard on the G35 Sport A/T model.

The G’s second generation FM (Front Mid-ship) platform features a 4-wheel independent suspension with lightweight aluminum components and improved body stiffness. The 2007 G35 is also offered with Infiniti “intelligent” all-wheel drive system.

thank god for that digital clock on the monitor eh? :rolleyes

overall, i think it looks great. i hope they did better on the interior though. the current gen G35 looks and feels very cheap inside for this caliper of a car. my 04 accord coupe interior feels more lush and luxurious than it.

don't you know the analog clock is Infiniti's signature? I am loving the lines. First thing I though was muscle when I saw the pics. And 7500rpm redline? wow. From what I hear, the new G is supposed to make at LEAST 320-340hp for the base sedan 6spd. Loving it. Infiniti has made huge leap in interior quality in the past few years.

The rear end is yummy... Aside from the side mirror which looks cheap, the car is very nice. It sweats lux and power, especially from the quarter rear view. Does this car use VQ35?
Nissan is never going to let the VQ go mang. Its been going strong for the past 12 years and still making it to the top of the best V-6 list ie. ward's auto. Holds true to the current G35/Skyline theme and the G Coupe concept. Look out Bimmer, I believe Nissan is aiming for that 1 spot again.

Looks like they finally smartened up and are using a bi-xenon setup now. The old setup was just plain strange. The low beam xenons were in the top reflector, and the bottom one served as BOTH high beams and fog lights.

And that cluster looks way familiar (who in here has an 04/05 TL?).

I love the current G35...so I'm sure this one won't disappoint me either.

glad to see that yellowish orange theme go away with the gauge cluster, damn near impossible to see the gauges when driving west during a sunset

thats fine if infinity wants the 'signature' of their automobiles to be a useless analog clock, i just think its a waste of space.
