Civic Fuel Gauges
Heres what I've learned:
Right hand turns and going uphill make your gas gauge go down.
Left hand turns and going downhill make your gas gauge go up.
I never trust my gas gauge, I dont think the bobbers are put in a very good place. Heres what I do:
Every time you fill up, reset your trip odometer, then drive until your fuel gauge reads E...then fill up your car...and take the number of miles on ur trip odometer divided by the number of gallons you put in the car. For me, its usually around 240 miles, and 8 gallons that I refuel....i get about 30mpg in a 93 manual LX w/ intake. My car is slow, so i have to use the gas pedal a lot to get around

. Hope this helps everyone!
PS I use Mobil Super + 93 octane...is that the reason my gas gauge sucks? Oh well its the cheapest around here....
