I went to Byron Raceway today. It was about 40 degress but was sunny.

Last time I went my best was a 15.6 @ 85 mph. No new mods since then. I guess I just learned how to drive :p

yea i shouldn't have said "SLOW" .. haha. But i guess it depends on the driver, cause i've seen people with just intake on an 00 Si get better then 15.6.

But still, nice time.

the weather at this time of year helped and hurt you.

colder air to the engine for sure.
colder track and tires

seemed to work out O.K. nice times.

i'm guessing that is a USDM si with the b16?

all the 96-00 si's up here canada run d16y8's
and 96-00 SIR's get b16's

i know we are wierd up here. you guys dont have an SIR and all of your si's get the b16.

We have a Civic EX, which is the USDM equivalent to your Si. Our Si is the equivalent to your SiR.

All of our Si's have b16's just like all your SiR's have them. And all our EX's have d16y8's just like your Si's do.. :)

Yes, you can get a 4dr EX with the SOHC VTEC. Our Si's are only 5spd as well. We don't have heated mirrors, and our's weren't offered in Vogue Silver Metallic - Only Flamenco Black Pearl, Milano Red and Electron Blue Pearl.

i know this is a little late, but they do make the 99-00 Si with a automatic tranmision. i know of 2 people who have them. and they were not special ordered. it's just not to many people ask for an automatis Si. if i read what you wrote wrong, sorry. not trying to start anything.

Are you sure they are Si's? Are they 1999-2000? Red/clear tail lights? "Si" in gauge cluster" Holes in the headrests, in the seats? Leather shift knob? Either black, red or blue paint? Si lip? Color matched trim? "nicer" looking stock exhaust? b16a2 DOHC VTEC engine?

First, check the engine bay, cause NO Si's were made with an automatic transmission, they all came equipped with a 5speed. Either the previous owners bolted up a tranny from a b18, or your friends are on crack and have a DX or something.
