That is a great price for install and resurfacing the flywheel. And no, when you resurface the flywheel, very little weight would be taken off. Unless they are a respectable machine shop that knows what they're doing, I wouldn't let them shave the factory flywheel.

That's a pretty good price. At all the shops I've ever worked at they'd send the flywheel to a machine shop to be resurfaced. Most shops don't have the equipment to do that job.
