4-2-1 Header on Automatic Civic EX?

I have a CAI and Cat-back.

Well....what do u think?

For $300, they will really help me?

Please let me know.

I don't know what you expect to get out of it???? Its not like a header is gonna give you a 10sec car. It will give you better air flow, better mid-range power, and probably a few HP.

i had the 4-2-1 on my car and then took it off and you can definitely feel the difference. The trannny may eat up most of the hp and torque gains but you can definitely feel the torque boost that you get from the header. I wouldn't buy it for 300 though, you can definitely find one less than 300. But i mean for everyday driving it is great improvement, but for racing it probably wouldn't hlep u at all.

Hi I thought it was better to get a 4-2-1 Header for an Auto? I could be wrong thow:)

get a 4-2-1 you'll need it with an auto. why?? cause A. you can't launch when racing, well you can but your tranny can only take so many nuetral drops and your brakes so many brake stands, B. you can't control the rpms in your car, the CAR does. with a 4-1 you'll be very boggy of the line and in stop and go traffic. 4-1s are for high-revving engines like the b16, and b18c's, not your lil d16 auto.

Youre wanting to lose all the torque you have already? Im sorry but my 2000 auto ex blew ass...granted it was stock. But if I was to floor it going up a hill it would actually decelerate :sleep: .

GET THE 4-2-1! it will be better than the 4-1 on the automatic.

Hahah, I hate that!! There's a stop light I pass to and from work every other day that's on an overpass, and it sucks whenever I'm the leader of a string of cars waiting for the light to turn green. I let off the brake and I have to jump to the gas real quick to avoid reversing into the car behind me :( Maybe not the exact same thing you're talking about, but it still sucks.

yeah.. i know automatics DONT hAVE SHIT worth of Torque

So why buy something that isnt gonna help at all?

automatic Torque is useless to try to make.. Why try getting torque from a torque POS?

I rather have a High end power

I dont know about u guys.. but my Automatic Shifts pretty mean with my Trust intake and Greddy PE.. Ill have a chance to beat cars at High end.. More likely then at Low end torque Launching

So why?.. its up to u.. I personally rather get a 4-1.. Since i know my car is stronger at Top end and I rather Support my top end power Needs then my No torqued automatic EX
