To all u guys that always ask about exhausts....... do not buy the 5 Zigen fireball exhaust !!!! I was at my performance shop today and talkin to the guys there and inquired about the 5 Zigen fireball, they laughed and showed me a pile of of them at the rear of the shop that had fallen apart and customers all complained that the sound changed less than a year after buying it. There was at least 15 of them there, he was keeping them cuz a while back when he stoped carrying them cuz they're poor quality, 5 Zigen asked for him to send them to him. So hez collected the ones hez pulling off cars and hez gonna send em. I have a 5 Zigen exhaust and the sound changed on me - doesnt sound good n e more- and last week the thing cracked from top to bottom and now therez a huge hole in it (I didnt hit n e thing). They are CRAP CRAP CRAP !

N e wayz something I thought I'd share.

My Spoon N1 is gonna be on in 2 days

Really, I was thinking of getting one. I've only heard good stuff about the exhaust. No poor quality and what not. Maybe that shop got a bad batch?? I dunno.
Anyone else have opinions?

Dont get one dude. I had a bad experience with 5 Zigen myself and the sound went form good to bad. Get a full stainless steel exhaust cuz U live in Ontario where therez alot of road salt, dont want the thing to rust. If im not mistaken on the tip and canister of the fireball is stainless steel. Be different - get a buddy club !!!

what the f*ck? never heard of that. I've had a fireball for a long ass time....1.5 yrs. probably. NO PROBLEMS. Awesome quality, good sound, etc. You're the first person to ever say negative sh!t. Huh, interesting.

With the 5Zigen's, you gotta becareful if you buy the REAL one or the FAKE one. In Taiwan, apparently they copy the 5zigen products and they look like the real thing. I am unsure how to differ them from real/fake. So just becareful where you buy it from.

That's why I got an Apexi N1 on my car!

Acually no dude, I called another shop I go to and they dont carry it cuz "the quality is not that great." They carry other 5 Zigen products - they jus said that the quality of the fireball sucks. So I dont know - other shops I called do carry it and didnt have n e thing bad to say about it.
But what happened to my 5Zigen speaks volumes - after a muffler totally changes sound after less than a year and the thing cracks to peices ummmmmmmmm yea !!!! and also all the f*cked up ones in the shop that 5Zigen wanted them to send. Eyes and ears dont Lie.

All n1s are loud. But today I acually got to sample the sound of the Spoon N1 and im in love. I also got to hear a buddy club one, sounds so good. The Spoon (the one im getting) is loud but not too loud, with a low grunt at low rpms, but violently opens up at higher rpms. Its only got a 2" tip so It looks kinda stock - looks cool. Its expensive for an axle back though !!!!
Im getting one installed on wednesday, i'll post a review for ya and give ya better details.

And im curious to hear from others that have had a fireball for over a year - is it holding up (sound and structure) ?????

it hasn't been quite a year since i've had my fireball but it's fine, and i still love it, and there are no problems. I'm not sure if the sound has changed, i can't remember exactly how it sounded when i bought it last summer. i bet there is more crud that has collected within the muffler and maybe that has changed sound in some peoples'. damnit, and part of the reason i bought it was cuz i heard a lot of people making a big deal about the quality of 5Zigen products. Well i still have a few more months till its a year with my 5zigen so i guess i'll just revive the post when something happens

Hi I v had my 5 Zigen Fireball for about a year threw two winters and it hasnt change, Its a great exhaust they probly got a bad bunch! :vpleased:

Hey man how did the 5 zigen fit with the Buddy Club Kit?

I've had my fireball exhaust for over a year and through some rough winters. I have never had any problems with mine. I would still recommend it to anyone.

Yea, maybe a bad batch, who knows. But they're gonna ship that shit off to Japan cuz 5Zigen wants em - we'll see wut they say - cuz the shop was a big dealer for them.

Oh yea, it fits good with the Buddy Club kit.

I've had mine six months, no problems to report. I love the sound, not too loud or quiet; and it looks good.

i like my fireball...great sound..i have no problems yet...but your not the first person i heard say bad things about 5zigen..anyways..i like it..but everybody is their own..

No dude, im not saying bad things about 5Zigen, im not stupid enough to call them a bad company - they have top of the line products. I just posted that My 5Zigen exhaust fell apart on me (never bottomed out), and that the shop I went to had stopped carrying them due to what he said the 5Zigen fireball being "poor quality". But they do carry other 5Zigen products - including the Miricle Fireball.

I had a bad experience with the product and was jus sharing it with ya guys.

a guy i know got what he thought was going to be a fireball axle back... we took it out of the package and it looked like a fireball. hell it even said 5zigen on the bottom of the muffler like it was supposed to. but it looked slightly different... the tip was a bit shorter than we thought it should have been. oh well we installed it and it sounded like a 5zigen.
about two months ago he started having a buzzing sound in the exhaust. he takes a look at it and the canister is starting to come un-attached. so he calls the place he ordered it from (not saying the name they're a reputable place and were taken as well) and tells them what's happening. they had six month warranties with the exhaust. what had happened was they had been ripped by a company that sold them exhausts from HP motorsports with 5zigen emblems welded or riveted on. i guess the quality wasn't as good as it was supposed to be because they told him that they had warrantied and replaced 15 exhausts from that batch and were thinking about sueing the company they bought it from (wouldn't tell him which one). just make sure that you are getting the real thing. order from a place that has sold them to people and hasn't had a problem with them at all. i'm getting mine in a few months.

Hey thanks 4 tha reply.. That could very well be the case in the situation with the shop up here. Someone posted earlier about there being imitation 5 Zigens out there. The shop could have some how purchased a crap batch, who knows. I geuss thats why 5Zigen wants em to ship them to them in Japan.
All u guys have had positive experiences with the fireball - so I take back the part in my earlier post about em being CRAP CRAP CRAP - cuz obviously they're not - somethings up with the ones that got sent to that shop.
