if your talking about the 6th gen 96-2000 civics si, ex sir (for oyu inc anada) all have small tweeters mounted on the inside of the mirrors in a pod
5th and 6th speaker locations
I read somewhere b4 that the Si (SiR) has 6 speakers instead of the standard 4. Can anyone confirm? Also, I was wondering where the 5th and 6th speakers are located in the car. I'm asking cause I just got 2 Infinity speakers from my uncle (3 1/2) and wanted to use it without having to find a place to put it in the car.

on civics, speaker sizes are 6x9" in the back and 6.5" in the front... i'm not sure about tweeter size. i'm guessing 1.5"?
on the DX can the tweeters be installed in the same spot without much modification?
i suppose they could. . . but how are you gonna adjust your side mirrors? the tweeters pretty much go where the mirror-adjusting handle is....
what i've seen some ppl do is that they cut out a hole from their doors (driver and passenger) for the tweeters. the pretty much end up resting a few inches towards the front of the door handle assembly.

mount the 5th and 6th on the rear door panels both sides
you need to customize the panels lil bit though....but it'll sound hell nice......that's my 2 cents...

If you get the q-logic kick panels you can put another set of componets in the front. Check out crutchfield .com, but I wouldn't buy them from there. You can get better prices if you look around.
anyone else make kick panels other than qLogic? anyone made any themselves? sux that u lose the dead pedal tho. . . i've gotten used to resting my foot there most of the time
