5zigen fireball

Does 5zigen make a fireball muffler specifically for the ITR?
Or would i have to purchase the whole cat-back system?

what would be better? fit the 5zigen fireball cat-back exhaust for the ITR, or just buy the muffler and fit a custom exhaust, or even leave the stock exhaust (just fit the muffler)?

what is the internal diameter of the 5zigen fireball muffler for the ITR?

5Zigen do make a cat back exhaust for DC2.....does your modified...because there is not much gain from an exhaust unless you are pretty deep in the modifying process....although if it the sound you looking for for now...and so when you do go further in the mod process (cams etc etc)....then a 2.5" piping would be beneficial to your needs!

what i would recommend is the purchase the muffler and get custom N1 style piping exhaust!....and get a HF CAT!

thats what i was thinking, but i just realised that the 5zigen fireball muffler internal diameter is only about 2 inches, so whats the point in getting a 2.5 inch exhaust???

you can get the 5zigen Turbo universal a friend of mine has it on his DC2 and it sounds great!...match it with 2.5" piping and HF cat!

5Zigen you are probably looking at is the NA model!....

Hi !!

I have a 5Zigen fireball cat-back which is made for ITR on my car.
For the installation, you need to modify the cat flange.
Like DC2#428 said, it would be better to have an universal muffler and match that to custom made 2.5" pipe.
I've got the NA fireball muffler which is of course smaller than the turbo one.
In my opinion, It sounds good and works good enough. And the quality is excellent for sure.
I am just letting you know that when I had the Apexi FC and header + high flow cat installed. It became louder.
As far as I know, the diameter of the fireball cat-back for NA is 60.5mm which is the same as the mugen cat-back diameter for DC2.
Anyway, If I am wrong , correct me
