One of my homeboys has 94 Civic and hes thinking about putting a 6th gen civic front on it. I seen this conversion on a car on ebay once, but I couldn't get reach of the seller for info about how he did it. I was wondering if yall ever seen this done & if yall know if its bolt on kinda thing, like the JDM Integra to the USDM integra. Or will it need some modifcation to the fenders, hoods or anything else.

In my opinion, that would be way to much work since its kinda complicated just to go from 96-98 to a 99-00 front end...I guess anythings possible since I've seen many combos...but I can assure it wont be a simple bolt on of the hood, fenders etc...the body is just way to different, body work will be required, but why would anyone want to do that? Why make a civic look like a newer civic? You or your friend should try getting a 94-99 integra front end, or skyline or something if your gonna go through all the trouble...Just my thoughts....

I can understand going from a 6th to a 5th!

The reason i say this is because everyone even me that own a 6th G civic want or put a eye bow on top of our headlight to make it look like long looking then it is round looking! You know what i mean? so i thnk is going to be ugly if you put a 6G front! if i have that kind of money i would go to a 5th g

Silver97Civic: It all depends on which 6th Generation headlight he's wanting to change it too. If he want the more round 96-98 headlight, or the more slanted aggressive looking 99-00 headlight. Personally if I hate the 96-98 headlights, there pretty ugly, and that's why most people buy eyelids for them. But I'm going to buy the CTR headlights for my 99 Civic Hatchback, and leave them as is. :p

hmm

A guy down the street from me did the swap... I looked at it for a while, he is using the 6th gen hood with 6th gen bumper and 5th mixed with 6th fender, i think he molded the back part of the 5th to the front part of the 6th. I dont think it would be THAT hard to do like some of you are saying and would look pretty neat.
